Armoured Suit Phase18: Complete

Finaly it's completed. I had a lot of fun doing this one.
Now that the modeling is completed, I'll try to find time to give color to this baby.
until then i'll wander to the other models.
Now I see that I forgot some details, but is only small ones so I'll consider it finished.

Now I'm geting lazy with his one...
i'll try to overcome my lazyness and finish this one in a few more steps.
Meanwhile I'll resume working on Strike Freedom.

Armoured Suit Phase16: Hands

This is a close shot of the hand. the concept art is not very explicit so I chose to make a five finger hand with two pseudo-thumbs.
About the name, I shall rename is as: GUS - Cyclops A1.
GUS stands for Ground Urban Sentry, A1 is just because it's the first one of his kind that I make. I case I make variations of the same model...

It may look that is near completed, but that is a bit far fom reality. After the fingers will come rearrege and model small details. In a way, yes it is in the final steps, but, some times I spend (or waste) more time on little details and gimmics that the overall model.


Also, I thinking of giving him a real name "Armoured Suit", is kinda lame. And the I hoping in modeling several concept robots, so its better giving them a unique name.
Therefore I'll be thinking a name for it.

The model is on his last steps. I'm enjoing a lot doing it, specialy adding the details. Later I'll also work on the skins, at least on the armor.
And I almost forgot, back need at kest some detail. I'm not sure what to do there. Surfing on the web will inspire me, hopefully...

Not much is done, I didn't spent too much time on it also. Tomorow (monday) I definitely work more on it.

Just a small start with the arms. This last days I was a bit busy. And then I was tired to continue the model.

For now the legs are done, maybe... maybe i'll add some more detail later. The arms are the next step. The back shot reminds me that I still need to work on it.... some other day...

Still working on the legs, but now they are almost completed. Finally... phew I was geting tired on working on them. Maybe tomorow I'll start the arms, or maybe I'll try to get the choper done.

Working on the rest of the leg and the inner frame. Later I'll do the foots and the legs are completed

The detail on the back of the legs, but it has some bugs to fix.

Now I think the legs are going fine. I added some extra detail on the inner frame. It's hard to see, but I didn't spend too much time on it. bump map is still missing.

this legs are anoying. TOO ROUND!
but the worst part is done, now what's missing is the unarmoured joints and interior.
maybe later I rework the main body's leg joints, they are not aligned correctly and are a bit to small to suport legs off this size.

Now I'm working on the joints, it's a little dificult, because in the concept it's hard to notice them, and the parts I see I don't undersand much. I'm trying to repreduce the best I can, but some things I'll be making up.
